TCBY’s Sam Batt of Batt Enterprises was recognized as one of this year’s recipients of the Franchisee of the Year Award during this week’s International Franchise Association Conference in Washington, DC. Sam received his award last night during the Public Affairs Conference Leadership Dinner at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Everyone that knows or has ever worked with Sam and his team knows how well deserved this award truly is. Aside from being an active member of The TCBY Brand Advisory Committee, Sam is an incredibly successful and prolific multi-unit operator and developer. Like many of our owners and operators around the world, Sam came into this business with no background or experience in food service or franchising. Today, Sam has successfully developed 26 TCBY locations, with another one on the way. Sam is known widely known as someone that is always working both in and on his business to achieve the lofty goals he has set for himself and his team. We congratulate Sam on this prestigious award.
